I am quite particular when it comes to choosing a photographer for our actual wedding day and I would not mind invest in getting a very good one as the captured moments will last a life time. Without a shadow of doubt, Patrick was our first and only choice to go for and we can honestly say that his works worth every single cent. He was inevitably one of the best decisions out of the many decisions I had to make for the wedding.
Like what “Patrick Kok Moments” is well-known for, Patrick never fails to capture all the right, unique and especially touching moments. It is worthwhile to mention that Patrick is a true master with exceptional skills of making beautiful photos even in back light and very low light venues (As our day ceremony altar was back-facing the sunlight and night reception foyer was in very dimmed light condition). We completely put our trust on him and the outcomes speak it all. Not to mention, his assistant was equally as good and didn’t fall short from excellence.
Sincerest thanks to Patrick and his team for being professional and accommodating throughout our pretty hectic wedding schedule and delivering the pictures unexpectedly soon after the actual day. I was very fortunate to find Patrick through an online search for professional photographers working in Kota Kinabalu. I was planning a proposal while traveling in Malaysia and wanted to capture this special moment. Patrick’s vision and creative direction accomplished this objective beautifully.

We are based in the USA, and Patrick was able to give me all the information I needed when I was nervous about booking from abroad, took the time to video chat with us and was in contact leading up to our trip to Malaysia, where he met us before hand to go over how the day would go and gave his expert opinion on the best timings between bride, groom, ceremony, etc.
Patrick had so many compliments from our family and guests, who came from all over the world. He had a wonderful way with directing groups to make sure he got the best shot, made everyone feel comfortable and happy to capture them naturally, and was so nimble getting from place to place to get so many great angles. I originally picked Patrick based off of his portfolio because of his contemporary style – he uses light, focus and angles to create some uniquely beautiful photos that perfectly captured our day and everyone involved.
One of the best aspects of Patrick’s Malaysia wedding photography service is the efficiency – in less than 24 hours, he had a beautifully edited slideshow from the entire day/night for us, and all photos were ready in 1 week. He consciously made the effort to meet up with us before we flew home after travelling around Borneo to hand deliver a custom wooden box to us, including a USB with all photos and slideshow as well as a set of prints.
It was amazing having a professional like Patrick as our wedding photographer and we were lucky enough to spend extra time with him after the wedding to get to know him – he is a generous, passionate and creative person, who even kindly shared a meal with us and took us to the airport!!!
There is no doubt that I, and many of our guests, would highly recommend Patrick as a wedding photographer, especially for any couples travelling from abroad.
